It is a common ideology that health problems occur as people age due to physiological deterioration in various parts of the body; however to bust all myths, there are millions of health problems experienced by neonatal babies too. In the same way yeast infection in men can occur at any age. To understand this concept well, one must be aware of the basic meaning and causes of this disease. It is caused to due to increased levels of candida albicans in various parts of the body.

These bacteria are required by the body at certain amounts and hence physical conditions are naturally created for their survival; however due to hormonal imbalances they tend to grow uncontrollably and cause minor to severe health issues. It is mainly diagnosed based on external symptoms such as sores, itchiness, redness, burning and irritating sensation. It can occur in small kids especially around lips and look as if they are chipped. Antibiotics and other medication can affect ph balance and hormonal levels at any age.

Besides all these external problems, internal physiological and psychological health problems can leave a direct impact on hormonal balance and simultaneously provide positive environment for these bacteria to quickly grow. Generally yeast infection in men especially in genital area is common in after attaining puberty and as they age. During later stages of life as they age sexual hormone secretions decreases and directly influences these bacteria growth.
